Job Description

Responsible for electrical operation & maintenance activities.

To supervise electrical/ electronic technicians and junior engineers.

Maintenance/Repair/Modify/Replace electrical system/ components including but not limited to electrical drives, PLC (programmable logic controllers), Windings,

Root cause analyses of electrical/electronic motors and other electrical sensors & components in cranes, Gensets and machineries.

Excellent skills for cable routing, finishing and trenching 3phase and single phase.

Ability to draw layouts and electrical wiring diagrams

Able to size and select appropriate rating breakers, cables, industrial electronics, drivers and starters, and fully understand load management in industrial environment on wapda and Genset

Prepare daily activity report of all maintenance and fault analysis.

Associate planning and executing the maintenance procedures for electrical systems/equipment to ensure maximum service life and utilization.

Monitoring and reporting of all electrical activities to team leader through proper channels

Evaluating and decision-making of any non-routine electrical activity

Helps in budgeting and control of electrical and instrumentation spare parts and maintenance cost, prepare BOQ’s

Training of staff and providing example guidance.

Assets’ Management/handling

Using main electrical testing tools and machinery.

Know how to work through operating station and local control panels
