Job Description
For the past 3 years, our organization has creating a cartoon series called Taleemabad, where our localized characters, Pinky Jojo, Babloo and Bunty get into all sorts of misadventures, with only one specific goal in mind, to keep children learning according to the National curriculum of Pakistan.

We’ve consolidated these offerings into i) an app that uses a combination of content delivery and gamification to deliver the cartoon curriculum to the Pakistani mass market  and ii) a low-cost device ($ 30) that can deliver education to inaccessible, hard to reach areas.

Doing so has won us recognition from the Queen of England  , and using this, we have spread the reach of our products to areas as diverse as Egypt, Cyprus, US, UK, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, among others. This has also meant that our app has had the chance to reach non-urban areas in Pakistan such as Gojra, Burewala, Daska and Shadiwal. Our users are now spending an average of eight minutes per session on the platform, and hundreds are joining every single day.

We have translated 2 years of the Pakistan national curriculum into a riveting cartoon series. We have close to 120 episodes that can take a child from illiteracy to basic numeracy and literacy, and using the products mentioned above, we are priming to reach a million Pakistani children by 2021.

In order to do that, we need some of the world’s best talent, especially in crafting a child friendly platform that can change how education is delivered around the country. I realize we have a wildly ambitious agenda, but in the past three years we have gathered a young and dynamic team that has punched far above our weight to keep moving forward. I am writing to you for this exact reason—we are looking for the next cadre of outstanding graphic designers to take this movement forward.
